International Carnival Queen 2011
Carnival Committee,
The Curaçao Carnival Development Foundation, Curaçao Tourist Board and the
official sponsor LBH-group are very excited with the success of our
International Carnival Queen Pageant. Queens from different parts of the
world like; Tenerife, India, Mexico (Mazatlan), Puerto Rico, Barbados,
Venezuela, Suriname, Colombia, Brazil , St.Maarten, Aruba, Czesk Republic
and Curaçao had the chance to experience this spectacular event.
For next year 2012, Curacao will host the next International Carnival Queen on
Thursday, February 9th.
Curacao an island in the Caribbean located at approx. 35 miles off north-western coast of Venezuela.
The mixture of different backgrounds and nationalities, has given Curacao her
rich and colorful culture. One of the expressions of our culture is the
Carnival, which is held yearly 2 months before Lent, a Carnival Parade
where the whole island will be dancing in the main streets on the rhythm
of our “Tumba”.
Curacao has a lot to offer because of her colorful architecture and the warmth of
her people.
Reason why we are inviting your Queen to participate and exchange the beauty,
joy and warmth of your country and your Carnival.
It will be an experience she will never forget, guaranteed!
