International Carnival Queen: Airfare and Accommodation
Each Country is responsible for their airfare.
Accommodation will be provided for one Delegate from each participating country at one of
Curacao’s leading hotels.
Accommodation will be on a shared-room basis so that there will be 4 Delegates per room.
This helps to develop congeniality. Two “on-site” full time local Chaperones will also be
provided by CURACAO CARNIVAL DEVELOPMENT FOUNDATION.
Other Internal Arrangements for Delegates: CURACAO CARNIVAL DEVELOPMENT FOUNDATION
will provide all meals, internal travel and take care of all other security arrangements for the
Delegates.
Arrival and Departure Dates
Delegates are expected to arrive by Curaçao on Sunday February 5th,
2012 and leave Friday February 10th 2012.
Chaperone:
Each Delegate will be allowed one Chaperone.
The travel and accommodation costs of Chaperones will be the responsibility of the
participating Country. In such cases, where a Country opts to send a Chaperone, the
CURACAO CARNIVAL DEVELOPMENT FOUNDATION will seek concessionary rates for airfare and
hotel accommodation where possible.
The CURACAO CARNIVAL DEVELOPMENT FOUNDATION will make reservations on a first come first
serve basis for one Chaperone at one of Curacao’s leading hotels. Chaperones must give their
names, contact information and their arrival dates in CURACAO as failure to do so can result in
unavailability of accommodation at one of Curacao’s leading hotels. If this does indeed occur
CURACAO CARNIVAL DEVELOPMENT FOUNDATION will attempt, but cannot guarantee, reservations at another hotel in the vicinity.
The CURACAO CARNIVAL DEVELOPMENT FOUNDATION will make all internal travel
arrangements for the Chaperones to all events at which the Delegates are present.
Delegates and their Chaperones can be assured that the hospitality and warmth that have characterized Curacao will be offered unstintingly.
